Chief Johnson was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and Duke Kenworthy had 2 base hits and 3 RBI at Federal League
Park where the Kansas City Packers beat the Newark Peppers by the score of 5
to 3.

Kansas City jumped on top to stay in the bottom of the 6th inning scoring one
runner.  Kansas City rapped out 10 hits for the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Johnson(14-16) who went the distance, allowing 3
runs. Tom Seaton(19-14) was hit with the loss.
