Pfeffer was running on the next pitch and he stole second. Chicago continued their aggressive style with another stolen base. Ned Williamson was up next and he drew a walk. Tom Burns stepped into the box and slapped a base-hit scoring a run. Tener added his contribution to the rally and slapped a single scoring the final run of the inning.
