Claude Hendrix was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game at South End Grounds where the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the
awful Boston Braves by the score of 12 to 4.

Honus Wagner had a big day at the plate.  He popped a two-run clout over the
fence in the 3rd inning, tripled which scored a run in the 5th inning and
ripped a one-base hit in the 9th inning.  Pittsburgh had 14 hits for the
afternoon.  

Hendrix(22-10) lasted until the end allowing 4 runs for the win. Walt
Dickson(10-13) suffered the loss.  He was unable to control the Pittsburgh
offense and allowed 14 hits and 4 walks in 9 innings.
