In a close game it was the Baltimore Terrapins 4, the Chicago ballclub 2 at
Terrapin Park.

Baltimore scored the winning runs in the 8th inning scoring 2 runs on 2 hits.
After two were out Harry Swacina began the rally when he doubled.  Enos
Kirkpatrick was next and he drew a walk.  Mickey Doolin then lashed a single,
and an error was also committed, bringing in two baserunners.  Baltimore had
just 6 hits for the afternoon.  

Bill Bailey(8-2) went 8 innings allowing 2 runs for the win. Bailey was helped
out by Snipe Conley who recorded his 8th save.  Claude Hendrix(21-11) was the
losing pitcher.  

'I didn't have my best stuff but sometimes you just get lucky,' Bailey said,
'this was one of those times.'
