Chuck Rose was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game as the St. Louis Browns beat the Washington Nationals by a score of 2 to
1.

Rose(1-1) pitched a solid game. He surrendered only 8 hits and no walks in 9
innings. Washington threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.

Bill Forman(0-1) was the losing pitcher. He was a hard-luck loser as he did
not allow an earned run in his 9 innings of work.
