Jack Glasscock cracked a homer and had 4 RBI and Charlie Getzien was able to
finish what he started and was credited with a complete game as the
Indianapolis Hoosiers defeated the Pittsburgh Alleghenys 12 to 10 at Athletic
Park.

Glasscock had a good day at the plate.  He banged out a single knocking in a
run in the 3rd inning, cracked a two-run shot in the 5th inning and ripped a
one-base hit plating a run in the 8th inning.  This was the kind of game that
many fans love as the lead changed hands 5 times.  

Getzien(18-23) got the victory, allowing 10 runs for the game. Bill
Sowders(3-10) was the loser.  He got hammered, allowing 16 hits and 5 walks
in 8 innings.
