Nig Cuppy was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game as the Cleveland Spiders topped the Pittsburg Pirates by a score of 11
to 8 at League Park.

Cleveland scored the winning runs in the bottom of the 8th inning with 3 runs
on 4 base hits.  After an out was recorded, Ed McKean began the rally when he
doubled.  Cupid Childs came to the plate and drew a walk.  One out later,
Patsy Tebeau then hit a single, and an error was also committed, driving in a
run.  Chippy McGarr was up next and he slapped a single accounting for two
more runs.  Cleveland dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different
innings.  

The victory went to Cuppy(24-13) who went the distance allowing 8 runs. Sam
Moran(1-4) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 12 hits and 6 walks in 8 innings.
