Champ Osteen had 5 hits and 3 RBI and Davey Dunkle pitched a complete game as
the Washington Senators won at American League Park in dramatic fashion over
the St. Louis Browns, the final score, 10 to 9.

Washington won the game with a run in the 9th inning.  After an out was
recorded, Rabbit Robinson slapped a single.  Clarence Wright then bounced one
in the dirt for a wild pitch.  Jack Hendricks then lined a single.  Osteen
stepped in and he ripped a one-base hit making Washington the victors to the
delight of the home town faithful.  This was a game of many highs and lows
for the home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 9 times in all.

Dunkle(11-13) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 9 runs. The losing
pitcher was Wright(1-16).  He was unable to control the Washington offense
and allowed 16 hits and 4 walks in 8 and 1/3 innings.
