Left fielder Wildfire Schulte slammed 2 homeruns and scored 3 times at Baker
Bowl where the phenomenal Chicago Cubs beat the Philadelphia Phillies in 11
innings 8 to 6.

Both teams had scored 6 runs after nine full innings. Chicago came out the
victor in the 11th inning.  After an out was recorded, Johnny Evers was the
sparkplug when he hit a single.  After another out, Davy Jones stepped up to
the plate and he smashed a two-run homer.  Philadelphia was set down quietly
in the bottom of the 11th.  

Buttons Briggs(13-12) was the winner allowing 6 runs in 10 innings. Three
Finger Brown gained credit for his 1st save.  The losing pitcher was Frank
Corridon(12-12) in relief.  He gave up 3 hits and no walks in 2 innings.
