Blues beat the Chicago White Stockings by the count of 6 to 1.

Cleveland scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning with the help of 3
hits.  That scoring would be all that was needed.  Cleveland had 9 hits for
the afternoon.  

The victory went to McCormick(26-34) who went the distance allowing 1 run.
