Tommy Tucker had 4 hits and 2 RBI and Matt Kilroy went the distance at Oriole
Park where the Baltimore Orioles beat the Philadelphia Athletics 14 to
9.

Baltimore took the lead for good in the 3rd inning scoring one runner. John
Kerins was hit by a pitch.  After an out was recorded, Billy Barnie then
called for a steal which was successful.  Dusty Miller was the next batter,
but he struck out.  Pop Tate followed and he slapped a single scoring the
run.  Despite losing, Philadelphia out-hit Baltimore 18 to 14.

Kilroy(26-20), allowing 9 runs for the game, picked up the victory. The losing
pitcher was Sadie McMahon(12-5).  He allowed 14 hits and 6 walks in 8
innings.
