Bill Hinchman had 4 hits and Harry Ables was able to finish what he started
and was credited with a complete game as the Cleveland Naps defeated the
Boston Red Sox 5 to 4 at Huntington Ave Grnds.

In the 4th inning Cleveland went on top for good scoring 2 runs.  Nig Clarke
led off and keyed the rally when he reached on an error.  After an out was
recorded, Dolly Stark stepped in and he drew a walk.  Ables then laid down a
sacrifice bunt.  Duke Reilley was up next and he ripped a single, and an
error was also committed, which was good for two runs.  Cleveland finished
with 12 hits in the victory.  

The win was credited to Ables(1-0) who went the whole way allowing 4 runs.
Charley Hall(4-4) was tagged with the loss.  He was touched for 12 hits and 6
walks in 9 innings.
