Duffy Lewis had 2 base hits and 3 RBI and Charley Hall tossed a complete game
as the strong Boston Red Sox beat the reeling St. Louis Browns by a score of
11 to 6.

Boston brought 4 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 5th inning when
they came up with 4 base hits.  They ended up being the winning runs.  Boston
banged out 11 hits on the afternoon.  

Hall(13-5) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 6 runs. Elmer
Brown(1-1) was tagged with the loss.  He was knocked around, surrendering 7
runs in 4 innings.
