At Terrapin Park the indomitable Chicago ballclub outscored the Baltimore
Terrapins 4 to 1.

Erv Lange(14-4) gave Chicago a solid outing.  He didn't give up much, just 5
hits and 4 walks in 8 and 2/3 innings.  Chicago totaled 7 hits on the
afternoon.  

Dave Black got the save, his 1st.  George Suggs(20-13) was tagged with the
loss.  It was a tough loss for him as he did not allow an earned run in his 9
innings of work.
