Tom Parrott had 3 base hits and 3 RBI and Billy Rhines had a complete game at
Robison Field as the Cincinnati Reds, running on all cylinders, ripped the
St. Louis Browns by a large 12 to 1 margin.

Cincinnati started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first as they scored 5 runs on 3 base hits.  That was all the offense
they were to need.  Cincinnati rapped out 17 hits for the afternoon.

Rhines(18-13), allowing 1 run for the game, picked up the victory. Bill
Kissinger(9-10) was given the loss.  He was knocked around by Cincinnati,
allowing 16 hits and 2 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.
