Jake Weimer was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and Snake Deal had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds
outscored the New York Giants in 12 innings 3 to 2.

Both teams had scored 1 runs after nine full innings.  Finally, Cincinnati
prevailed in the 12th inning.  Miller Huggins stroked a single.  Joe Kelley
got his turn next, but he was a strikeout victim.  Ned Hanlon then called for
a steal which was successful.  Fred Odwell was up next and he hit a sacrifice
fly scoring the run.  The teams had been locked in a scoreless duel until the
7th inning.  

Weimer(19-16), allowing 2 runs for the game, picked up the victory. The losing
pitcher was Hooks Wiltse(17-10) in relief.  

With this win, Cincinnati has a 73-73 record.  They have been 4-6 lately.  New
