Harry Burrell tossed a complete game as the St. Louis Browns topped the
Louisville Colonels by a score of 16 to 7 at Eclipse Park.

St. Louis scored 5 runs in the 5th inning when they came up with 5 base hits.
They would be enough to earn the win.  St. Louis provided plenty of action in
the 5th inning which saw them plate 5 runs on 5 hits and the 6th inning
scoring 4 runs.  The St. Louis offense was great, scoring in 7 of the 9
innings.  

Burrell(2-0) got the victory, allowing 7 runs for the game. Scott
Stratton(8-9) was tagged with the loss.  He was knocked around by St. Louis,
allowing 14 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings.
