TEAM RISP- Giants: 9 for 19 Colts: 4 for 14

Amos Rusie went the distance as the powerful New York Giants staged a dramatic
comeback over the Chicago Colts by a score of 16 to 7 at South Side
Park.

New York bats came alive with a big top of the 9th inning as they creamed
Chicago blasting them with 10 runs on 9 hits. The key offensive moment was
provided by Rusie who quieted the home crowd when he lashed a single plating
two runs. New York bats were hot in the 9th inning which saw them plate 10
runs on 9 hits. This was the kind of game that many fans love as the lead
changed hands 7 times.

Rusie(35-16), allowing 7 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Frank
Donnelly(3-4) took the loss in relief. Donnelly was feeling apologetic in
the locker room, 'I sure let that one get away. What a miserable feeling to
let the guys down; and our fans. One minute things are looking great, then.
BOOM, it's over with! I just hope I get a chance to redeem myself real soon!'
