Stump Weidman went 10 solid innings at Driving Park Grounds where the Detroit
Wolverines beat the Worcester Ruby Legs in 11 innings by the score of 4 to
3.

The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings.  Detroit came out on top in the
11th inning.  George Wood stroked a base-hit.  Joe Gerhardt followed next and
he lined a one-base hit.  Two outs later Sadie Houck came to bat and slapped
a single scoring the run.  Both teams totaled 8 hits on the afternoon.

Weidman(7-3) went 10 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Tony Mullane was
credited with his 2nd save.  The losing pitcher was Lee Richmond(21-29).
