First baseman Chris Fulmer had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Charlie Geggus had a
complete game at Wright Street Ground where the Washington Nationals beat the
Milwaukee Brewers 9 to 7.

Washington jumped on top of Milwaukee in the 7th inning scoring 4 runners on 3
hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Geggus who disappointed the
partisan crowd when he slapped a one-base hit bringing home two baserunners.
Even though they scored in 5 different innings, Milwaukee was not able to
pull off the win.

Geggus(8-6) was the winner allowing 7 runs for the game. Henry Porter(0-1)
ended up with the loss. He gave up 9 runs and 11 hits in 9 innings.

'It's been a rough ride lately, but this was a good win for us' said Mike
Scanlon, 'Maybe this will put us back on track.'
