Cy Young was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game at League Park as the smoking-hot Cleveland Spiders beat the
Philadelphia Phillies by the count of 9 to 1.

Cleveland promptly took the lead in their half of the first scoring one runner
on 3 base hits.  Cleveland finished with 15 hits in the victory.

Young(31-15) lasted until the end allowing 1 run for the win. Gus
Weyhing(16-15) was charged with the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 15 hits
and 2 walks in 8 innings.
