George Mullin completed the game without help from the bullpen at Bennett Park
where the Detroit Tigers beat the struggling Cleveland Bronchos 10 to 9.
The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Jimmy Barrett. He doubled in the 2nd inning, tripled in the 7th
inning and lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in the 8th inning. Cleveland
threatened in the 9th but Detroit was able to put down the rally.
Mullin(13-15) allowed 9 runs on the game. Otto Hess(0-3) was given the loss.
He got hammered, allowing 13 hits and 5 walks in 8 innings.
