Dan Kerwin had 4 hits and 2 RBI and Jack Harper had an impressive outing at
Palace Of The Fans as the indomitable Cincinnati Reds beat the Brooklyn
Superbas in 15 innings 10 to 9.

The game was deadlocked at 7 after nine full innings.  Cincinnati ended up
winning it in the 15th inning.  Cozy Dolan doubled.  Mike Donlin came to the
plate and ripped a base-knock resulting in an exciting win for Cincinnati and
a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans.  Cincinnati lit up the
scoreboard in the 9th inning which saw them score 4 runs on 5 hits.
Cincinnati had 22 hits for the afternoon while Brooklyn had 11.  

The win was credited to Harper(6-8) who went 5 innings allowing no runs. Rube
Vickers(1-7) was the losing pitcher in relief.  He surrendered 12 hits and no
walks in 6 innings.
