Howie Camnitz was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and Dots Miller had 3 base hits and 3 RBI as the Pittsburgh
Pirates defeated the pitiful Brooklyn Superbas by a score of 6 to 2 at
Washington Park.

Pittsburgh jumped on top to stay in the top of the 5th inning as they scored 2
runs on 3 base hits.  The highlight belonged to Vin Campbell who quieted the
home crowd when he hit a single plating two runs.  Pittsburgh finished with
12 hits in the victory.  

The win was credited to Camnitz(17-8) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Elmer Knetzer(8-6) was hit with the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 10
hits and 9 walks in 7 innings.
