Ray Collins pitched 9 strong innings and Everett Scott had 3 base hits as the
seemingly unstoppable Boston Red Sox defeated the Chicago White Sox by the
score of 6 to 1 at Comiskey Park.

Boston won the game with a rally in the 8th inning as they scored 5 runs on 2
base hits.  The key at-bat was by Collins who quieted the crowd when he
stroked a single plating two runs.  Boston had 8 hits for the afternoon.
