Fin Wilson hurled a 2 hitter as the Brooklyn ballclub defeated the Chicago
Whales by a score of 7 to 2 at Weeghman Park.

Brooklyn tallied 3 runs in the top of the 4th inning.  Benny Kauff led off and
got things going when he drew a walk.  Claude Cooper stepped up next and he
drew a walk.  Fred Smith then stroked a single scoring a one-base hit run.
Al Halt was up next and he tripled with two more runners crossing home.
Brooklyn managed 8 hits in their victory.  

The winning pitcher was Wilson(8-2) who allowed 2 runs for the game. Bill
Bailey(10-15) was hit with the loss.  He gave up 8 hits and 9 walks in 8 and
2/3 innings.
