Louis Maroons by the score of 7 to 0.
St. Louis was unable to recover after Washington went ahead in the 4th inning
when they tallied 2 runs on 1 hit. Washington finished with 8 hits in the
victory.
Gilmore(3-1) was credited with the shutout, his first of the year. Egyptian
Healy(19-18) absorbed the loss. 'Gilmore pitched a gem of a game', Gus
Schmelz recounted. 'He kept our batters off balance the entire game.'
