complete game as the very talented St. Louis Browns defeated the New York
Metropolitans by the score of 5 to 1 at Polo Diamond Grounds.

St. Louis brought 2 runs across the plate in the 3rd inning.  That early
scoring held up.  St. Louis had a total of 11 hits for the game.
