Center fielder Hercules Burnett launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Tom
McCreery had a complete game at Eclipse Park as the Louisville Colonels beat
the Cleveland Spiders 11 to 4.

Burnett had a big day at the plate.  He cracked a two-run shot in the 5th
inning and hit a bases-empty home run in the 8th inning.  Louisville rapped
out 13 hits for the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to McCreery(2-4) who went the distance, allowing 4
runs. Nig Cuppy(24-14) was the loser.  Louisville scored big getting 11 runs
off him in 8 innings.
