Americans beat the Detroit Tigers 2 to 1.

Boston scored 2 runs in the decisive bottom of the 7th inning.  The key at-bat
was by Lou Criger who brought the crowd to their feet when he ripped a
base-hit scoring two baserunners.  The game was a scoreless duel until the
7th inning.  

Harris(1-2) allowed 1 run on the game. The loss was charged to Frank
