Gavvy Cravath cracked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Baker Bowl where the
Philadelphia Phillies beat the Brooklyn Superbas 8 to 7.

Cravath enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in
the 5th inning and cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 7th
inning.  Philadelphia ended up with 14 hits for the game while Brooklyn had
10.  

Erskine Mayer(11-12) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 3 innings. Bull
Wagner(6-7) took the loss in relief.  Philadelphia scored big getting 3 runs
off him in 2 innings.
