Scott was just too much for St. Louis. He gave his hometown fans a game they'll never forget! He walked 2 St. Louis batters. The tension was mounting with every inning after the 6th. Scott appeared oblivious himself to the mounting history until two were out in the 9th. Only then, did he allow himself one deep sigh and a slow trip around the mound. Chicago had a total of 11 hits for the game. Tom Phillips(2-4) was the loser. He was unable to control the Chicago offense and allowed 11 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings. 'Scott made us look bad' Branch Rickey said. 'I've seen a lot of good performances in my time and this one will be tucked away in my memory bank for a long time to come' SCORESHEET: 1915 St. Louis Browns at 1915 Chicago White Sox B.Shotto-A1 A1:F/7 B1:F/7 C1:G/43 D1:F/9 I.Howard-A1 A2:FO/4 *4*:K C2:G/43 D2:FO/2 G.Sisler-A1 A3:K B3:G/3 *7*:F/8 D.Pratt-A1 *2*:G/43 B4:G/53 C4:G/43 T.Walker-A1 A5:G/43 *5*:W>b1 C5:G/63 J.Austin-A1 A6:W>b1 B6:Sac/34 *8*:F/8 >12 D.Lavan-A1 A7:SB>12 B7:K C7:K P/2 H.Severe-A1 *3*:G/63 B8:L/5 C8:L/4 T.Philli-A1 A9:L/6 *6*:L/4 *9*:F/9 B.Wallac-C9 E.Murphy-A1 A1:L/6 *3*:Si *5*:Do D1:G/43 E1:G/13 B.Weaver-A1 A2:Si B2:Sac/34 C2:G/63>2 *7*:Si E2:Si >12 3 E.Collin-A1 A3:F/8 B3:Si>2# C3:W>b1 D3:E/5>12 E3:G/3 J.Fourni-A1 A4:Si>13 B4:SB>12 C4:SB>12 D4:Sac/34 CS/25>2o Do>3# 2# >23 12 G/63 J.Jackso-A1 A5:F/9 *4*:W>b1 C5:Si>2# D5:Si>3# 2# S.Collin-A1 *2*:F/8 B6:Sac/34 C6:Si>12 D6:SB>12 >12 P/3 L.Blackb-A1 A7:G/53 B7:F/7 C7:G-DP/4 D7:E/8>2# 63>1o b2 W.Mayer-A1 A8:E/1 B8:IW>b1 *6*:G/43 D8:G/43 J.Scott-A1 A9:G/13 B9:G/63 C9:G/13 *8*:K
