Fritz Clausen didn't allow a hit until the 6th inning at Exposition Park where
the Louisville Colonels beat the Pittsburg Pirates by the score of 6 to
3.

Clausen(9-10) pitched a solid game.  He went 9 innings allowing 6 hits and 4
walks.  The left-handed Clausen lost a no-hitter when Lou Bierbauer singled
with nobody out in the 6th inning.  Pittsburg threatened in the 9th but
Louisville was able to put down the rally.  

Mike Smith(7-7) was the loser. He allowed 7 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings.
