TEAM RISP- Yankees: 3 for 17 Athletics: 3 for 12

Tom Daley collected 2 extra-base hits and had 3 RBI at Shibe Park where the
Philadelphia Athletics beat the pitiful New York Yankees by the score of 6 to
3.

Philadelphia wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning when they
came up with 4 runs on 3 hits. The early run support proved sufficient for
John Wyckoff(4-4) and Philadelphia. That was all the run support Wyckoff
required. Both teams totaled 9 hits on the afternoon.

Chief Bender recorded his 4th save. Ray Fisher(12-17) was the losing pitcher.
He pitched 8 innings and surrendered 9 hits and 3 walks.
