Stan Baumgartner was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and Jack Martin had 3 base hits and 2 RBI as the Philadelphia
Phillies defeated the Brooklyn Robins by the score of 6 to 2 at Ebbets
Field.

Baumgartner(3-0) gave a fine effort for Philadelphia.  He went 9 innings
