Otto Krueger rocketed 2 homeruns and Cowboy Jones allowed Patsy Tebeau to rest
his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the St. Louis Cardinals outscored the
Cincinnati Reds 11 to 8.

Krueger had a big day at the plate.  He lifted one out of the park for a two
run home run in the 5th inning and caught a hold of a bad pitch for a Grand
Slam homerun in the 7th inning.  Cincinnati went down without a fight in the
bottom of the 9th.  

Jones(15-14), allowing 8 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Noodles
Hahn(13-18) suffered the loss.  He served up 3 homeruns in his 9 innings.
