Jack Manning pitched a complete game and Pop Snyder had 3 base hits and 3 RBI
as the Baltimore Canaries outscored the New York Mutuals 15 to 7.

Baltimore started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first scoring one runner on 2 hits.  Baltimore bats were very productive
in the 2nd inning when they had 4 runs on 4 hits and the 8th inning which saw
them score 5 runs on 5 hits.  Baltimore managed 15 hits in their victory.

Manning(13-4) was the winner allowing 7 runs for the game. Bobby
Mathews(32-23) was the losing pitcher.  Baltimore knocked him around a bit,
as he gave up 15 runs in 9 innings.
