TEAM RISP- White Stockings: 2 for 15 Giants: 3 for 15

Jocko Flynn reeled off a total of 13 strikeouts as the Chicago White Stockings
bested the New York Giants 6 to 3 at Polo Grounds.

Flynn(22-6) pitched a solid game. He gave up just 8 hits and no walks in 9
innings. Chicago totaled 7 hits on the afternoon.

Tim Keefe(37-22) was hit with the loss. Flynn didn't realize how many
strikeouts he was racking up. When told he had 13 he was obviously
surprised, 'No kidding? Man, I knew that I had a decent total, but I didn't
think I had K'd that many. Say, that's pretty good, isn't it?'
