Egyptian Healy went the distance at Sportsman's Park as the streaking Toledo
Maumees beat the St. Louis Browns in 10 innings 8 to 7.

The score was knotted at 7 after nine innings. Toledo won the hard fought
contest in the 10th inning. Bill Van Dyke delivered a base-hit. Van Dyke
was safe on a stolen base. Two outs later Healy came to bat and ripped a
solo home run. Although they lost, St. Louis did out-hit Toledo 17 to 11.

The victory went to Healy(32-9) who went the distance allowing 7 runs. George
Nicol(1-1) suffered the loss in relief.

Toledo added another win to their mounting winning streak. Charlie Morton was
happy with his team's performance of late - 'They're playing solid ball right
now' he said. 'Let's hope they can stay focused.'
