Herbie Moran had 2 base hits as the Brooklyn Superbas outscored the New York
Giants 3 to 1.

Pat Ragan(10-13) was very good in the win.  He allowed just 4 hits and 3 walks
in 8 and 2/3 innings.  New York had a chance to come back in the 9th but they
came up short.  

Nap Rucker was credited with his 5th save.  Jeff Tesreau(16-7) was tagged with
the loss.  He gave up 3 runs and 7 hits in 8 innings.
