St. Louis went ahead for good in the 5th inning scoring a single run using 3 hits. Wallace banged out a single. Patsy Donovan was next and he doubled scoring the run. The St. Louis offense was great, scoring in 7 of the 9 innings. The victory was credited to Yerkes(3-1) who went the distance, allowing 4 runs. Archie Stimmel(2-15) was the loser. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 15 hits and 4 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.
