Willie Sudhoff was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the St. Louis Browns topped the Chicago Orphans by a score
of 8 to 7 at West Side Park.

St. Louis brought 7 runs across the plate in the top of the 5th inning when
they came up with 4 base hits.  The big moment was provided by Tommy Tucker
who quieted the crowd when he lifted one out of the park for a two run home
run.  Chicago out-hit St. Louis 12 to 8, but St. Louis ended up with more
runs.  

The victory was credited to Sudhoff(14-23) who went the distance, allowing 7
runs. The losing pitcher was Walter Thornton(16-10).
