The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance provided by Clinton. He ripped a base-knock knocking in a run in the 3rd inning, smashed a two-run homer in the 5th inning and ripped a solo home run in the 6th inning. Baltimore had many opportunities throughout the game and scored in 6 separate innings. Henderson(27-23), allowing 6 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Tom Sullivan(0-3) ended up with the loss. Baltimore scored big getting 11 runs off him in 8 innings.
