Left fielder Jim Clinton cracked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Hardie Henderson
had a complete game at Oriole Park where the Baltimore Orioles beat the
Columbus Buckeyes 11 to 6.

The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Clinton.  He ripped a base-knock knocking in a run in the 3rd
inning, smashed a two-run homer in the 5th inning and ripped a solo home run
in the 6th inning.  Baltimore had many opportunities throughout the game and
scored in 6 separate innings.  

Henderson(27-23), allowing 6 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Tom
Sullivan(0-3) ended up with the loss.  Baltimore scored big getting 11 runs
off him in 8 innings.
