Paul Hines rocketed 2 homeruns and scored 3 times and Hank O'Day allowed Mike
Scanlon to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Washington
Nationals defeated the hapless Kansas City Cowboys by the score of 6 to 2 at
Swampoodle Grounds.

The Washington fans enjoyed the offense provided by Hines.  He ripped a solo
home run in the 1st inning, laced a single in the 7th inning and hit a
bases-empty home run in the 8th inning.  Washington finished with 10 hits in
the victory.  

O'Day(4-2) was the winner allowing 2 runs for the game. Stump Weidman(15-34)
ended up with the loss.  He allowed 6 runs and 10 hits in 8 innings.
