Silver King tossed a complete game at Sportsman's Park where the St. Louis
Browns beat the Cleveland Blues 5 to 4.

St. Louis tallied 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning.  Jack Boyle kicked
off the action when he delivered a base-hit.  After an out was recorded,
Arlie Latham came to the plate and drew a walk.  Bill Gleason then reached on
an error.  Tip O'Neill followed next and he was hit by a pitch scoring a run.
One out later, Bob Caruthers came to bat and slapped a single which
accounted for two additional runs.  Cleveland threatened in the 9th but St.
Louis was able to put down the rally.  

King(31-12) lasted until the end allowing 4 runs for the win. Bob Gilks(6-6)
suffered the loss.  He was pinned with the loss despite not allowing an
earned run in his 8 innings of work.
