Quinn had a great day at the plate. He doubled bringing in a run in the 1st inning, bombed a two-run dinger in the 3rd inning, popped a two-run clout over the fence in the 5th inning and lashed a single in the 8th inning. Boston rapped out 11 hits for the afternoon. Sowders(15-19) finished the game allowing 1 run in the victory. Bill Burdick(9-11) was the loser. He allowed 3 homeruns in 8 innings of work. 'I've spent a lot of time in the cage and made some adjustments and they've paid off,' Quinn said. 'I just take the same approach up there. I don't overanalyze it. I go up there, see the ball and try to put a good swing on it.'
