Chick Fraser(12-18), with relief help from Nig Cuppy, blanked the Pittsburg
Pirates at Exposition Park.  The Cleveland Spiders scored 7 runs for the
victory.

Pittsburg was unable to recover after Cleveland went ahead in the 5th inning
when they scored 2 runs on 1 hit.  Cleveland managed only 6 hits on the
afternoon.  

Jesse Tannehill(21-17) was hit with the loss.  He surrendered 7 runs and 6
hits in 9 innings.
