Bill Dammann collected 3 extra-base hits and had 3 RBI at Eclipse Park as the
Cincinnati Reds beat the Louisville Colonels by the count of 8 to 3.

Dammann was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors.  He tripled in the 2nd inning, tripled
plating two runs in the 6th inning and doubled bringing in a run in the 8th
inning.  For the game Cincinnati out-hit Louisville 14 to 11.  

The win went to Dammann(17-8) who allowed 3 runs in 8 innings. Pete
Dowling(14-17) absorbed the loss.  He got hammered, allowing 14 hits and 4
walks in 9 innings.
